The Position

  • Distributor Excellence Lead will serve as a local strategic partner responsible for the effective and efficient distribution model, tools, operational framework and governance processes to support BI business objectives.
  • Support on execution of Strategic Account Management (SAM) across BIAH together with distributors in a strategic operational framework and processes.
  • Develop the BuSe distribution strategy together with BuSe heads with input & feedback with data analysis, modeling and documentation. Review and propose optimization of the GTM model based on the circumstance dynamic and BuSe development & priorities.
  • Build up a standard of procedure for distributors to ensure operating compliantly.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Govern the whole distributor life cycle management with defined distributor selection criteria,contracting, on boarding, transition, termination process. Building up a standard of procedure for distributor to ensure operating compliantly.
  • Drive the distributor motivation plan through
    • Distributor channel margin analysis (mark up +discount /rebate –investment to BI business) compare with industry benchmark
    • Better understanding on distributors' needs to provide supports from BI
    • Contracting handling
    • Yearly incentive plan etc.
    • Exit program to keep high engagement of the distributors according to the business situation
  • Regular and ongoing distributor performance analysis incl. Cycle capability assessment / KPI tracking, input to training function on the learning strategy. Decision ready proposal for incentive improvement and optimization.
  • Implement SAM end-to-end processes. Introduce and continuously improve the Strategic Account Management (SAM) approach, SA segmentation and cross functional integration to ensure high level of engagement with the target SA. Support on the program, documentation, tools, analytics.
  • Support to develop and optimize GtM Strategy according to business strategy and priorities. Continuously analyze and optimize the GtM model where necessary. Agree and develop a plan to drive GTN/GTM transformation in the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor degrees, preferably life sciences / animal health
  • At least 5 years working experience in relevant distribution management, financial analyst, capability management, commercial or industry experience.
  • Understanding of complex channel environments and Strategic Account Management (SAM) approach.
  • Language: Fluency in oral and written English; further language skills would be an asset.
