We are unable to recruit anyone who does not have a right to work in the UK.
Globally and nationally wildlife is in steep decline. We appear to be reaching critical tipping points around the loss of biodiversity as well as around climate change, both being interlinked. Human society cannot prosper without wildlife and healthy ecosystems.
Kent’s wildlife needs to be restored to much higher levels. We can no longer allow common things to become rare. We can only do this by restoring large-scale natural habitat areas and processes. Doing this will contribute to solving global problems. But we won’t be able to do this unless we publicly aspire to a higher level of impact and show that we can deliver this.
Kent Wildlife Trust is the leading wildlife charity for Kent and Medway, supported by its members and staffed by committed professionals. Join our team and help us create a Wilder Kent! In return we will inspire you, listen to you, value you, treat you equally and fairly, look after your health and wellbeing and encourage flexibility from day one, enabling you to draw on these benefits to be a better, happier and more productive you.
In this crucial role you will be supporting the People team who strive to create a truly great place to work. We are a flexible employer that aims to be one of the best employers in the environment sector in the southeast and we are looking for someone with the dedication and positivity to help us make this happen.
The role will be supporting the People Team in providing an efficient and high quality administrative support service to enable the Trust to recruit and retain motivated, high performing people who are delivering to the Kent Wildlife Trust Strategic Plan
You will have an interest in developing and growing the role to develop the organisation and to develop your own skills. You will uphold the Kent Wildlife Trust cultural framework by consistently demonstrating ‘courage, collaboration, agility, growing people, accountability and diversity and inclusion’.
You are a Naturally curious problem solver with an objective approach and have a flexible and ‘can-do’ approach to work.
Please note that this role is best suited to someone who lives in Kent. Although we have an agile working policy it will be necessary for you to come to head office in Maidstone frequently and visit various sites across the county occasionally.
