We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

Te Pūriri o Te Ora, the Regional Cancer and Blood Service provides active and supportive cancer care to over two million people within Auckland and Northland, as well as specialist national services. Our services comprise of Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology, with the largest oncology unit in New Zealand. Radiation Therapy, Haematology and Haemophilia. We provide Faster Cancer Treatment service, Cancer Psychological and Social Support Initiative and our Cancer and Blood Research. As well as our Genetic Health Service, which is the Northern hub and our national Gastrointestinal Cancer Service.

In this role, you will support the Medical Oncology service working alongside doctors, clinical nurse specialists, outpatient schedulers and other Te Pūriri o Te Ora administrators to provide cohesive administrative support.

On a day to day basis you will work with Outlook, Excel and Word and a range of Hospital Systems. You will be regularly challenged by a wide range of tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop working with a great team.
