Job description
To define, plan and carry out the strategy necessary for maximizing sales, marketshare and margins (with the product division) for STM32 Microprocessor products.
To identify new opportunities in collaboration with the sales force and to propose themost appropriate technical solution for the customer's needs.
Territory covered is Taiwan with strong sharing with other team members located in theAPeC region.
Principal accountabilities are:
1/ Development and management of the business activity on the MPU products in Taiwan. This includes strong collaboration with Sales team, distributors to ensuresuccessful penetration of STM32 MPU products in the market with ambitiousbusiness plan. Internal and external promotion via multiple options like training orevents & workshops is also in the scope.
2/ Consolidation and close monitoring of the data points. This includes preparation ofthe forecast, monitoring of the backlog, business reviews with the relevant partners likedistributors as well as price management.
3/ Develop partnerships with major stakeholders involved in MPU market. This includes, identification, validationand qualification of potential partners all across the vertical chain.
4/ Ensure product launch before Mass Market for MPU products by selecting a few key customers to easeafterwards the introduction of the product on the mass market.
5/ Responsible for tailoring the roadmap following discussion with other team membersto provide to division clear visibility on product needed. Such task includesmarket analysis, competition analysis and positioning as well as ecosystemrequirements. Profile
Global experience of 5-10 years in semiconductor marketing
Strong experience in MPU market (industrial factory automation, industrial gateways, consumer, POS, embedded Linux applications, ...)
Familiarity with embedded devices OS (Linux, Azure RTOS)
Familiarity with software distribution systems (Yocto, Buildroot, Open WRT, …)
Familiarity with MPU ecosystem (AI, Graphic, Audio, Communication, …)
Familiarity with STM32 MPU ecosystem (CubeIDE, CubeMX, CubeProgrammer, CubeFW, …) is a plus
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, teamwork capabilities
A previous experience in the semiconductor industry is mandatory
A previous experience in the MPU market is highly recommended
Position located in Tokyo
Ability to travel in the country and occasionally in the APeC region is also required
