SEO Content Writer (Work from home) [Philippines]


 

We’re an international media company, looking for a content writer with a strong background in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and evergreen (long-form) content writing. This is an exciting fast-paced role, writing 1500 to 2000-word evergreen stories across multiple verticals in a well-supported team environment working off the content briefs written by the team’s researcher.


As an SEO Writer, you will be assigned weekly keywords to work on, and use SEO best practices to drive traffic using these keywords and topics. You will use your skills in SEO writing, including the proper use of subheadings, web-ready formatting, and proper link usage and placement. Documents will be prepared for you by your manager on company standards, but the door is always open to discuss your ideas with your manager.

  • Strong background in SEO writing
  • Ability to write evergreen content using SEO best practices
  • Strong background in using keywords effectively in content, both in the body and in subheadings
  • Highly organized and able to follow and monitor a keyword strategy and schedule
  • A background in integrated content writing to drive traffic flows
  • A team player who can work flexibly and pitch in when others need time off
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Able to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
