ACT360 Web & IT Inc is an Web design agency that specializes in providing clients with top-quality, results focused websites. Our specialty is helping our clients to create websites the fulfil their purpose, with a special emphasis on more technical sites.

To do this we need an website project manager who is able to dig deep with our clients to understand their goals, create realistic timelines and crush them, and is able to facilitate measurable results with our clients.

Day to day in the position:

You will be the front line of interaction with the clients, you should enjoy working with people, collaborating with an amazing development team, and organizing small and medium side projects (10 - 1500 hours). Our team is under 10 people, but we get a lot done! We have a light and friendly virtual attitude, we meet daily for standups, have bi-weekly group "demo days", and virtual group lunches to create a collaborative, friendly work atmosphere. We are a 100% remote company, and embrace that!

Key Responsibilities

Jira Administration Wiz

  • Creation of projects, project structures in Jira
  • Creation and management of project schedules and timelines
  • Providing realistic timelines to clients, and working with them to make the timelines achieve their goals
  • Manage balance of work between developers and developer skillsets
  • Oversee the QA of tasks to ensure they achieve the clients goal, and are up to ACT360 quality
  • Work with both Agile and waterfall projects depending on what fits the clients goals and scope best.

Client Communication Maverick

  • Make sure the client knows what is happening, what's up next, and what they need to do.
  • Make sure our clients feel heard, listened to and understood
  • Ensure clients are approving decisions, changes and our understanding of their goals
  • Gathering resources from clients quickly and effectively

Internal Organizer

  • Ensure handoffs and syncing of projects between resources is effective and builds relationships between team members. We don't want work just thrown over the wall to the next person, facilitate people learning from each other, and using each others skills to improve our results.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in Jira
  • 4+ years of experience in project management in web design and development
  • strong proficiency with CMS systems, and an ability to communication with clients
  • Previous experience working at a digital agency / web development firm
  • Leadership ability to prepare, meet and manage client calls
  • Ability to ask clients Excellent questions, and ensure clients never feel like every question requires "let me ask someone on that"
  • Technical writing skills for documentation
  • Understands that Canadian work culture (meetings start on time, we do what we say, and are very friendly with our clients/ co-workers!)
  • Has Excellent English and communication skills
