Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in any IT related field
1-2 years of working experience in related field
Responsibilities:
Analyze incidents or technical issues that impact infrastructure operations
Conduct troubleshooting for infrastructure and network-problems from mid-level complexity to higher complexity.
Resolve technical issues or problems escalated from level 1 within a defined turnaround time
Identify warning indicators or significant declines in system and network performance following the roll out of upgrades or updates
Receive escalation from level 1 engineers for mid to high complexity network infrastructure issues.
Execute routine tasks related to the administration, configuration and support of infrastructure, in line with broad guidelines
Apply guidelines and processes from an action plan to carry out tasks and activities outlined in infrastructure upgrade plan
Knowledge and utilization of various tools to understand and troubleshoot network infrastructure issues efficiently.
Review change request form for any minor network changes or upgrades.
Provides network impact analysis and execute network failover if required for any planned network maintenance.
Produce documents and procedure for new routine task as required.
Manage and mentor level 1 network engineers.
Update network infrastructure document for any minor to mid changes of infrastructure design or traffic flow.
Understand escalation process and execute on a timely manner.
