Our client is an international market research institute based in Hamburg, Germany. They have their own online access panel with survey participants in over 70 countries. Their passion is for well-founded and modern market research and are they continuously develop themselves and the methods and technologies they use.
They are now in need of a Sales Manager to build and direct their sales ambitions. This candidate will be the first Sales Person in the company and will work directly with the CEO and Marketing Manager to develop a sales strategy.
Tasks:
- You will be responsible for sales, identifying and contacting potential customers, and arranging appointments.
- Together with Marketing and other departments, you are responsible for new deals and new customers and developing sales formats that bring success.
- You will identify growth areas and what drivers the customers' purchasing decisions in a structured and customer-oriented manner.
- You are responsible for supporting regular and new customers and advising them on the company's products. company's products.
- You define your own sales channels and strategies and optimize them as necessary.
- You see sales as the interface between marketing and other departments and analyze sales data.
- Leading price negotiations, documenting successes, and preparing reports are part of your responsibilities.
Requirements:
- You have completed commercial training or professional qualification with a focus on sales.
- You have B2B experience in sales as well as an entrepreneurial and economic mindset.
- You have experience with sales negotiations and strong communication skills.
- You are customer-oriented and service-minded.
- Your strength lies in sales, but you are also interested in marketing and business development.
- You have an independent, committed, ambitious, and innovative way of working and a very high-quality awareness and demand for your own work.
- You are business fluent in German and English.
This could be either a direct hire or a freelance role. The client's home office is located in Hamburg. The ideal candidate would be able to work in a hybrid environment, but this could be a fully remote role.
