Position Title: Senior Sales Manager, Korea & Thailand

Working Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Geographic Coverage: Thailand & South Korea

Reports To: Head of Sales, ANZ & Asia


JOB SUMMARY:

  • Develop and implement effective account strategies to deliver Newell Brands sales and category objectives into key B2B distributors within the Korean & Thailand markets.
  • Ensure Regional Trade/Net sales & Gross Margin targets and forecasts are achieved within the allocated trade spend budget, and within the guidelines set out in your performance objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with the Customer & Brand Marketing Teams, and the broader cross-functional teams for the development and delivery of consumer and category led, customer plans (Joint Business Plans and Annual Operating Plans).

  • New Business Development : New product / new market through category development, vertical expansion & end user demand creation
  • Develop/Support & Train distributor resources dedicated to Rubbermaid Commercial Products
  • Product Planning & Supply

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

The quantitative KPI of this role:

  • Sales Target: Invoiced/Net Sales Targets for Korea & Thailand
  • Gross Margin: Ensure GM delivery and recovery for the region
  • Sales Forecasting: Ensure accurate delivery of monthly/quarterly and Full Year calls
  • Product Forecasting: Provide support on product supply with internal stakeholders
  • Communication: Communicate with the Head of Sales on a regular, and as required basis, advising problems, opportunities and progress towards objectives.

The qualitative KPI of this role:

  • Develop and implement strategies to build Newell Brands Consumer & Commercial Solutions products in all major distributors. Main products of focus include Rubbermaid Commercial & Home Products.
  • Originate, negotiate, and secure agreements to achieve financial objectives specific to your accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with all major accounts through the implementation of “Joint Business Plans” and Category management as well as building and presenting Annual Operating Plans to all relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Supervise and monitor sales performance and distributor promotional activities. Ensure effective utilization of allocated Marketing Support Funds within budgeted levels.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tertiary qualifications in related field
  • At least 10 years of B2B sales experiences
  • Must be highly proficient in Korean and English languages
  • People Management Skill
