We are expanding global development, operations, and support teams by establishing a center in Bucharest, Romania and we are hiring at various levels for our Site Reliability Engineering team. You will be responsible for the design, performance, and reliability of the cloud infrastructure that enables the Aeris platform services. This ensures that Aeris’ partners can reliably deliver value to their customers through the Aeris platform so that they can leverage the full potential of our service offerings.

Responsibilities:
- Deploy software and infrastructure to staging and production
- Manage service performance and capacity
- Scale our cloud infrastructure to support our growing ecosystem.
- Design, code, and support observability services that provide visibility into the Aeris platform and the underlying services.
- Develop automation scripts for auto-healing of service components.
- Work with other teams to continuously improve Aeris services and ensure that they continue to meet their service level objectives.
- Lead/participate in regular operations reviews
- Adhere to industry-standard security best practices.
- Incident response
- Participate in our on-call rotation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related degree
- 2+ years of experience in any of a SRE, DevOps or similar role.
- 2+ years of experience in Cloud Platforms, such as Google Cloud, AWS.
- 1+ year of scripting experience. Python and Shell scripting preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following technologies. Kubernetes, relational and no-SQL databases, message brokers, Oracle databases, MongoDB, in-memory data stores, event streaming (i.e. Kafka), ELK, Prometheus
- Curious and an excellent problem solver
