The Role
As a Test Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role within a Scrum team, responsible for testing and automating system-level test cases for new features. Your expertise will ensure the quality and reliability of our products, preparing them for successful customer releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to devise and implement effective test strategies, with a focus on Python-based testing and Embedded systems validation.
- Develop automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.
- Encourage and support team members in writing component tests and defining appropriate tests for automation at the component and system levels.
- Conduct thorough testing to identify and address potential issues and bugs, ensuring the delivery of robust and error-free products.
- Act as the quality advocate in your team, effectively communicating with stakeholders and prioritizing customer-centric thinking.
- Foster collaboration with Test Development Engineers from other teams to build a strong network within our organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Test Development Engineering, with a strong emphasis on Python-based testing and Embedded systems.
- A quality-minded and customer-centric approach to work, ensuring the highest standards of excellence.
- Self-driven and able to work independently, taking ownership of tasks and projects.
- Excellent Python knowledge and experience working with Embedded systems.
- Strong communication skills, facilitating effective teamwork and collaboration.
