Job Summary: SDS Enterprises is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching truck drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong understanding of logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule truck drivers for pick-up and delivery of goods
Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time arrivals and departures
Monitor and track the progress of shipments to ensure timely deliveries
Address any issues or delays in transportation and provide solutions
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and driver schedules
Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation processes
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
Requirements:
Proven experience in dispatching or logistics operations is preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficient in using dispatch software and GPS systems
Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry practices
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics is a plus
Working Conditions: The position requires working during the evening shift from 5pm to 2am.
Job Types: Full-time, Fresher
Salary: Rs25,000.00 - Rs30,000.00 per month
