About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Manager with 3-5 years of experience in transport/logistics sales, ideally with blue-collar experience. The right candidate should be willing to travel, although the role will be remote.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining client relationships and growing the business through strategic accounts and expanding them throughout Australia.

About the Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining client relationships and growing the business through strategic accounts and expanding them throughout Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships.
- Work with marketing and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
- Develop a thorough understanding of products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
- Develop growth strategies and plans, by identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.
- Managing and nurturing relationships with existing customers.
- Attending networking events and hosting stands at exhibitions and conferences.
- Researching prospects, cold calling potential customers and responding to incoming leads to increase your client base.
- Writing business proposals and presenting these to potential customers.
- Providing specialist advice on the products and/or services you’re selling.
- Following industry trends locally and internationally.
- Negotiating, drafting and reviewing contracts.
