Your tasks:
The main purpose of the role, is to develop & sell our products (AIR/OCEAN/LAND/CL) with focus on Airfreight as a centre:
  • Manages assigned customers and budget base; pursues and secures air business in line with the business objectives.
  • Probes and identifies customer needs and provides solutions.
  • Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base
  • Communicates significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts
  • Researches and understands the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers
  • Analyses competitive and industry trends in Airfreight
  • Ensures customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality
  • Works closely with the local product organization to grow volumes and revenue
  • Collaborating with the capacity & campaign manager to formalize commercial plans and ensure maximization of asset utilization
Your Profile:
  • Professional experience in the freight forwarding business and knowledge of the market
  • Sales experience in the forwarding and logistics industry, ideally in Airfreight
  • Understanding of customer requirements and their concerns
  • Service and customer orientation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent action as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment
  • Preferably knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Empathetic personality with a well-groomed appearance and confident appearance
