POSITION SUMMARY:
The main objective of the Agent Onboarding Specialist is to maintain all agent files within internal systems and monitor and reply to emails received in the agent onboarding mailbox. Agent Onboarding Specialists will be the point person to work directly with agency partners on providing RTS reports and updating new/expired files. Agent Onboarding Specialist will need to be technically savvy and can manage workload. The Agent Onboarding Specialist will work directly with Sales Operations Manager and Sr. Sales Administration Specialist on updates and statuses.

- Handling of prompt e-mail or phone follow-up as needed with established agents/ Agency Partners to ensure satisfaction, respond to queries, and solve or refer problems to appropriate internal AHP departments.
- Identify the nature of the agent email and refer to the appropriate department for resolution if out of the basic scope of knowledge as listed above.
- Review of monthly verification of Agent licensure on the DOI website to ensure that each agent is active and update agent record files
- Update and maintain all Sub-Agent files and process Certification and Re-Certification exams.
- Review and ensure certification exams and current Life licensure must be filed for each broker that completes annual certifications.
- Validate agent’s certification and licensure documents and communicate with agent/agency partners regarding discrepancies and/or missing documents. Upon validating certification completion, will send out Welcome Letter to agent and agency confirming Ready to Sell status
- Maintain active agent documents required to stay in “good standing” such as E&O, AHIP and state licenses
- Coordinate Run Ready to Sell (RTS) reports for leadership and/or agency partners
Supervisory Requirements:
This position has no direct employee supervisory responsibilities.

1. Minimum Experience:
a. At least one year or related experience
2. Education/Licensure:
a. Preferred, but not required, High School diploma or general degree (GED)
3. Other:
a. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
b. Excellent written communication skills
c. Computer proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, CRM)
d. Detail oriented and able to multitask and troubleshoot…
e. Ability to work well with staff and with minimal direction…
f. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends.
