Overview / Responsibilities
Bilfinger Tebodin currently offers an opportunity for mechanical engineers and equipment & piping designers interested in working for an extended time in France on a large and important energy project with an international team. For younger graduated technicians, it is an true opportunity to deepen existing basic knowledge in a highly qualified manner, and for more experienced graduated technicians, it is an opportunity to expand their skills to lead a few designers smaller design teams.
Work description:
- 3D Design of the mechanical ( equipment / equipment facilities ) and interconnection piping selected parts using applicable standards, project technical specifications and Client´s project procedures
- Designing in the 3D models PDMS environment and an integrated CAD environment
- Generating the General Arrangement 2D drawings of piping and plant layouts from 3D models
- Generating piping isometric drawings from the 3D model
- Preparation of and updates to project main design deliverables including Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) and pipe isometric drawings (like Piping Material Lists, Equipment Lists and further Lists and Technical Specifications or Data Sheets for exact items determination important for further procurement actions like issue Requests for Quotations from suppliers and final purchase)
Skills / Qualifications:
- Graduated ( Diploma in Mechanical engineering ) Bachelor or Master degree
- Willingness to stay and to design in France (Lyon) for longer period of time (12-24 months)
- Candidates with 2-10 years of relevant design experience in industrial plants design range are preferred
- Basic knowledge of the design software AVEVA (PDMS) – if need training for the PDMS will be arranged by our company prior the departure to France
- Further 3D optional piping design software (for example Plant 3D, etc.)
- English language knowledge - communicative level, French language knowledge is the advantage
