Industrial (Logistics) Engineer

At Amgen Breda (ABR), we label, assemble, store, and ship medicines to various countries worldwide. Our team comprises over 1000 people from 38 different nationalities, working across supply chain processes, manufacturing, clinical research, and marketing and sales.

Within ABR, Warehouse Operations are pivotal, handling the receipt, storage, and dispatch of all products and materials for the manufacturing lines. The Operations Improvement Team (OIT), including 10 skilled Subject Matter Experts and 2 Industrial Engineers, supports ABR’s Manufacturing and Warehouse Operations departments. The OIT uses observations, measurements, and data and scenario analysis to drive process changes and improvements.

As our manufacturing volume has doubled in recent years, necessitating investments in manufacturing capacity and changes to our distribution model, the existing storage systems and logistic solutions require adaptation and enhancement. To facilitate these improvements, the OIT is now seeking a 3rd Industrial (Logistics) Engineer to strengthen the team.
